How do I know I'm buying organic?

Below is a list of certifying agencies in the United States.

Companies carrying these symbols must adhere to standards set out by their certifying agency.

There are also many overseas companies which supply organic products in the US. They are required to adhere to standards of certifying agencies in their own countries.

Internationally, many agencies also belong to IFOAM and other World Organisations which govern their standards.

CNG is a grassroots alternative certification program created specifically for tailored for small-scale, direct-market farmers using natural methods.
